Glacier Tours
Only
a few travelers can share this thrill, an eagle's eye view of
nature's “River of Ice” with its blue crevasses and miles of snow
fields. The helicopter will land next to a glacier. You will be able to explore the terrain. The flight itself provides
some of the most spectacular scenery and photographic opportunities in the
world. The landing is a memorable climax to a rare experience.
You will depart from the Homer Airport
for a 15 minute flight to the Grewingk Glacier across Kachemak Bay. Your
glacier experience lasts approximately 1/2 hour, time enough to explore
the "River of Ice". Prior to departure, you can
"toast" the glacier with a glass of chilled champagne. This glacier tour is one you will never forget!
